Hi to all you farm gals in the "Farm Girl Blessings" group in Spokane, WA.
We are trying to update our chapter list, so if you are a member of our group please contact me.
Our dear Brenda_pastblessings has so much going on in her life and is busy up to her eyeballs that she has asked that I take over for awhile.
I will be sending out an email to all the members(once i get a revised list) to let you know what we have planned for upcoming get togethers.

hmmmm, chocolate nibs...
what about Chocolate Mint plants...could you use the leaves or would that be too strong?

Oh, I'd love to have a farm full of farmgirls in trailers! DH and I toured a '61 Santa Fe at a yardsale... the airstream is just too big for hauling, more of a summer cottage as it is. lol. Grace, I'm jotting down Cracker Jacks and farmgirlfriends as the perfect pairing with the lilac wine.
I adopted some lavender babies and tucked them in the garden...going to look for a lavender wine recipe, and maybe one using chocolate nibs. I refuse to "cheat" by using flavorings. But, oh, how nice it would be to blend a hint of chocolate into some of these wines. Wonder if adding the nibs, like adding oak beads, would give it just the hint I'm looking for? Time to experiment. And, if it doesn't taste just right, I can always cook with it! tee hee hee!
Lavender wands are so relaxing and fun to make! If you need a supply, I know someone who could probably help you out! I'm so glad your chapter is close by. You gals are so much fun!

hey LFD, aka-Theresa aka lil monkeys mommy....
consider yourself on the list....
I wont have the 1st get together until Aug.(when I have all the names on the list)...I am half tempted to have a "make -n-take lavender wand class/gossip fest/food fest/ get-together....but still have to sort things out and then there is the lavender...if I don't have enough long spheres then I will have to go to plan-B,,,which I don't know what it is yet! lol!
I am also thinking about just an impromptu gathering of gals for the Aug. Buggy Barn Quilt show/display....and maybe a trip up to Davenport (town, n ot Hotel)for lunch...again, just formulatting some ideas....
But I will post here & direct emails when I get my brain in gear.....

i wont always be able to make it but would like to be up to date on things if i can
if your having a meeting this thurs, i wont be able to make it dropping the girls off at camp and taking the baby to evening swim lessons. never a dull moment here

Perfect pairing!!! I would add a little laughter and some farmgirls, but other than that, the pairing seems perfect!!!!! I am still hunting for the perfect little trailer.. holding my "mouth" just right so that the money and they trailer show up at the same time :) But, I can't wait until I get one and we can "take them for a spin". I am sure our hubby's wont mind if we camp at Michelle's every weekend :)

oh, Michelle,,,,pair it with???? are you kidding??? it was Yummy all by it's self! lololol!
Actually I enjoyed it with, don't laugh...a box of Cracker Jacks the first night and then Chocolate Rice Cakes the second night....I know, I am such a Gourmut!!!!lol!

Oh Meg,
for sure,,,,you & Mom are on the list,,,but I had to give Rene' top billing 'cuz I am trying to coax her into getting a vintage trailer,,,and I will use most any excuse to 'snare her'...lol!
Oh & p.s. I will gently suggest to Mom, that a tin of Safety Pins would make a perfect Christmas gift...for the daughter (that would be you) who has everything except a safety pin handy when her Roaring 20's style dress (straps) give way!!! lol!

Grace, you are too funny! I'm so glad you liked it. Here I was wondering what to do with it, thinking it hadn't turned out at all, and all it needed was time to age. Mmm. I'm guessing I'd better have some ready for everyone to enjoy Thursday! :) What did you pair it with? Oh, and please include me on your list as a frequent interloper. :)

you,,, a crasher???? naw! never,,,you have an open/honory spot in our get-togethers.....we'll always leave the light on and the wine bottled un-corked just for you my dear! lol!
BTW,,,have ya tried Michelle-huckleberrywine's Lilac wine? OMG! it really is good & duh! it smells like Lilacs....lol!
