I just wanted to give you all a heads-up reminder that we're meeting at my place tomorrow at 2pm - if you're in the neighborhood, or in the mood for a drive, send me an e-mail and I'll give you directions! If you've already been to our last meeting - here's another reminder!

Hi Libbie!
The chapter leader quilt will truly be a treasure!! I am pleased to say that there are now 45 quilt squares being lovingly embroidered across the states! The New Zealand farmgirls have already sent theirs back ~ you'll see a picture in the chapter leader newsletter going out this afternoon!
Thanks for your enthusiasm!

Hi Libbie! I hope you're having fun embroidering your quilt square! If it can return to the farm by the end of May, then I can get the quilt put together for display at Farm Fair for sure, and hopefully for any June events that come up.
Yes, farmgirls are all unique and talented! Jo Ann did a lovely job of embroidering the napkin holders!!
Have a great weekend!

Those napkin holders are so darling! Aren't farmgirls creative?

Hello again farmgirls! Julie Bell and I visited Jo Ann (Mountain Girl) in Colville, WA. She made us feel right at home, just like a farmgirl friend always does!!
I thought you might like to see the adorable "napkin holders" she made for us. MaryJane took a picture of them here at the farm.

Patricia and Jenny, and any other Utah farmgirls - tomorrow is our "meeting" - you two wouldn't, perchance, be in the mood for a road trip, would you? If so, just shoot me an e-mail. 'Love to have you join us, if you can!

Oh, Patricia, I'm sorry to say that I'm farther from SLC than Jenny is! We're just outside of Richfield (it's right by the jct. of I-15 and I-70). Would you like to "join" the group via e-mail? I can keep you posted on what we're doing, if you'd like?

We're meeting on 3/5 for our first major get-together, so if you want, I'll let you know how it goes and what we're up to.

Libbie ~ Are you anywhere near SLC? I'd like to join Jenny's chapter but she's too far from me for me to go to meetings regularly and that kinda defeats the purpose.

Jenny, how often do you guys meet?

Thanks,
P

The lady whose cow it was decided to let her dry up with her calf whenever that happens - she said that she didn't want the "hassle." And, even though I am disappointed, I figured that if it was MY cow, I'd want to do what I wanted to do without getting any grief from anybody. I WAS looking forward to it, however... I hate to wish that somebody would flake out, but I wish she would, too!

Mona is doing fine...bigger every day..but no calf yet....I hope it is soon. I am really hoping the gal here who wants the calf if it is a girl flakes out since I would rather see her go to you. I just can't back out on her ...but there is that possibility they decide against it..I will sure let you know!!
How did it go milking the neighbor's dexter???

Yay, Jenny - I'm so sorry our attempt to meet didn't work out last time - I'm still anxious to meet you and the rest of the group - we're tiny, too, but hey, didn't someone once say that if you don't think you can be small and effective, just think about the mosquito! How is Mona? I do have a loving home available for a female calf...
