I know, I know... It's been a long time. How many of us are out here - and who's close to the Sevier Valley (I know Aunt Jenny and Katiedid are around here, somewhere!).
I was thinking we should get together for some sort of "meet-up." Whad'ya think?

I am SO glad that you both had a good time - and, Vicki, I second the "great to meet you!" from Jenny! I'm hoping that we can keep doing things like this - maybe a seasonal farmgirl festivity of some kind? I know we Utah gals live a ways from each other, so maybe 4 times a year would be a good number of times to get together - spring, summer, autumn and winter - what do you think?

Our numbers were few, but it was great for me to meet Libbie and Aunt Jenny! We chatted, walked around Libbie's farm and saw the sheep with their lambs and made crackers from MaryJane's budget mix. Each batch had different seasonings...mmm good! Oh and Libbie and Jenny were knitting socks. The needles were clickety clacking while we chatted. Me...not a knitter, but it was amazing to watch them. It was a fun weekend. Libbie and I think we should have another get together...maybe in the fall?

Don't think I can get the man to stop, but maybe on Sunday when we come back through. I wish I would have planned better too. I love the little town of Elsinore and would surely love to meet ya'll.

Okay Utah farmgirls! Here's a plan - and you're all invited: A summer garden-hat-making and seed exchange festival at my farm. It's in Elsinore - right smack-dab in the middle of the state. Saturday, April 18th, beginning at 11am and going until Sunday! You are all welcome to camp out on my floor - I don't have guest beds, but if it's a long drive for you, grab a couple of blankets and a pillow, and spend the night in front of my cozy wood stove. I would love it!
Just let me know if you can attend - send me an e-mail throught the forum and I'll give ya' my address and directions. I am SOOOoooo excited!
