Hello ladies! So I live in Lake Stevens, WA, but during the weekdays I live at school in Seattle. I contacted both the Everett and the Seattle farmgirl chapters but no one responded. That was weeks ago.

So I started my own Lake Stevens chapter. I was wondering if any one lived close enough to join the chapter and have meetings. I really want to have members and not be the only one in the group. I plan on telling more people in the area about farmgirlisms and such and invite them to join as well. My sister even wants to join as a farmerette.

Anyways, I really want members and to have a great thriving group of lovely good natured women of all ages! Please respond if you would like to join, know someone who would like to join, or have any advice. Thanks so much!

Victoria - I live in Elma and tried to contact Olympia too with no luck. Maybe we could get together - Shelton and elma are pretty close!

Good luck. I am a little to far away to join a Lake Stevens group... but you could also join the henhouse for us WA gals!

Hi Victoria, I signed up for my chapter to be in Lake Stevens although we don't necessarily have to have our meetings in Lake Stevens depending on where our members come from. It's called the Lake Stevens, WA Farmgirls Chapter.

Yea Chelsey! I think as long as you keep putting the word out there, 'They will come.".... I know for my group Summers are harder~kids are home and yard work and so on...I anticipate things will "heat up" this fall..keep bumping this post.. so any new gals can find you easily :) Good luck!

Victoria,
There was a thread that started a while back on the topic. It is hard to monitor all the groups to see who are active and who aren't. My thought is this.. Just start one...I think some gals start it with great intentions and for whatever reason dont or can't follow through.Maybe they need someone like you to take the reigns and then they will jump in when thier life allows....

I tried to contact the Olympia chapter but had no response. Are some chapters not alive anymore? Is there a way to find out which ones are still up and running? Are you going to have a chapter in Seattle or Lake Stevens?
