Hi Farmgirls!
Several of us Spokane Farmgirls were hoping to meet at the Buggy Barn Quilt Show in Reardan (West of Spokane). The show is August 23rd and 24th. Unfortunately we will still be out of town, so I will not be able to attend. However, I wanted to get the ball rolling for those of you that want to attend. If you can let us know if you want to participate we can figure out a time and meeting place. We have several new gals that are planning to join our chapter too! Exciting times!

In September, we will have an "apron fest" at my house. We will get together for food, fun and fellowship. We will each bring our favorite apron patterns, fabric, embellishments, etc. and a favorite appetizer to share. We can swap things, share ideas and help each other create farmgirl keepsake aprons! The date will be Friday, Sept. 26th at 6:30 pm. It will go until the cows come home . . . which could be a long time, since cows are not allowed in our neighborhood . . . Drop me an email and I can give you directions to our home. Hope you can all make it!

Hugs & blessings,

Brenda

Brenda & Spokane FarmGirls, I'll be there! And don't forget that Mary Jane will be at Auntie's bookstore on August 27th with the Outpost Book!

We come from the earth, we go back to the earth, and in between, we garden!

Rene, we would love to have you "Crash" our party!! Any farmgirl that wants to join us is more than welcome! I will try to get ahold of Grace to spear head the Buggy Barn Quilt Show, since I will be gone. It will either be August 23rd or 24th. I will be gone. The Apron Fest (or whatever we want to call it . . .) will be Friday, Sept. 26th at my house. Email me for directions . . . not big on telling the entire internet my home address! LOL!) It will be at 6:30. Also, if you can bring your own sewing machine, that would help. I have two I can provide. I will keep posting more info. as it draws near.

Looking forward to farmgirl fun!

Hugs & blessings,

Brenda

Oh wow! That would be great! I haven't heard from Grace on how the organizing is going. She's great at putting things together and making it happen. I'll have to let her know we're interested and get the when/wheres. :)

We make a difference.

I'm so glad this summer (knock on wood) has been kinder to you. You looked fabulous, even in the dust. I love the name of your campground, that is just perfect! This year my schedule is much more open, and I'm going to work at keeping it that way so I can get out and enjoy more instead of working too hard and missing out on life's fun times too. So I'm sure I'll find a way to make it to the Buggy Barn, and hopefully Amy and maybe even more new farmgirls too. :)

We make a difference.

Hi Michelle! It was so good to see you out at the Vintage Barn Antique Show! What a fun show that was . . . even if I was sitting in the dust all day! LOL!

I am hoping Grace (Katmom) will help organize a meeting place for everyone that wants to attend the Quilt Show. Rosalia is close enough I would love for you gals to combine with us whenever you want! I sure wish I could be there, but we will be "Beyond Hope" that weekend . . . that is the name of the campground we are at . . . it is literally beyond Hope, Idaho, so they call it that! Too funny!

I hope the September date will work for you. I know you said Friday nights are the best, so I kept that in mind when figuring out a date.
And, you even know how to get to my house since you were so sweet to bring me cookies and flowers after one of my surgeries last summer. Wow! I've made it half way through summer with no such disasters so far!!

Hope to see you in Sept. if not sooner!

Hugs & blessings,

Brenda

OH, Brenda what fun! We're starting up a Rosalia chapter. I wonder if both chapters could meet at the Buggy Barn? It's fun to be so close to so many events. :)

We make a difference.
