So I am told. But I was wondering - who has recently just started a chapter and who is "thinking" about one"?

Chelsey,
YEA!!!and you will have more members soon! I know that Sunny is working hard on getting the chapter stuff out. As I am sure we can all relate, Summers on the farm are a very busy time.. that, added to the number of gals signing up every week makes for a very busy office hen hencho (aka.. Sunny)... Great Job!

Diana.. Things were a little like that in my home town, but now I have all kinds of gals to come and play.. and you will too no doubt...

I just recently got my packet and hope to find some local friends to join. I guess the news isn't out about MaryJane's Farm here in Missouri, because I haven't seen any active Missouri farmgirls here :(

Rene, I just started a chapter the other day. I wrote to the two closest chapters to me, but none responded so I took matters into my own hands and created the Lake Stevens, WA Farmgirl Chapter. I hope to receive my packet in the mail soon! I can't wait to begin and have fun with the chapter...the only sad part...I'm the only member so far, but that will not last

I had tried starting one here in my area of Florida..even ran an ad in the local advertiser paper and placed an announcement in the regular paper and on the newspapers website..with no luck..and even placed little flyers at my feed supply store...so...since we will be re locating to central Florida soon..I was able to find a gal that is a 1 person show in the town that we will be moving to..and she and I have already been emailing each other and she has written to me via snail mail and sent a photo of herself..so we are trying to keep in touch.

Hi Rene :) It was so great to meet you at the Farm :) We are starting a new "on the road" type chapter over our way. Girls from Seattle to Portland meeting in the middle (probably Centralia and beyond) once a month and then online weekly. Carpooling to events and Farmer's Markets, aid opportunities, picnics, camping trips :) Would LOVE to have anyone in the area join in. Our very first meeting will be sometime in July and we are just getting set up a bit. A focus will be always being of service to other farmgirls when the need arises (help moving, canning, cleaning, hospital buddies etc.) Though those things come up rarely, when they do there will be a Farmgirl Sister at hand :) Still thinking on a name....... :)

hahahah! Although we farmgirls are somewhat hard to scare off...But I do understand the businessness....Rosalia is a great place to find farmgirls too....I grew up in Coulee City, and we (hubby, boys and I) in the St. John area... and Colfax... wheat country is God's country as far as I am concerned. Hey do you know any farmgirls that wheat weave? I always thought that would be so fun to learn to do..

Ok.. bad onto the chapter things.. I hope you do. I am certainly finding so much joy in meeting and getting to know other gals through the chapter.. it is so fun! Keep us updated! seems the girls all have such great ideas on the unlimited list of things we can do!

Hi Rene!!
I am thinking strongly about it - my life has been so crazy lately that I haven't had a spare minute though and I really feel like I can't do it at my house because we have to remodel the bathroom before we let anyone who isn't our parents into it. It might frighten them off!!
