I was under the impression that there were monthly discounts for Sisterhood members but I have only received notice of the February discount on baking mix. Am I missing the notification?? I'd really like to take advantage of the discounts when offered!!

Sorry...I meant email. I don't think I got the first one about
the book itself and the discount.

That helps to explain the shipping. I will keep in mind that the shipping via us postal service is flat rate and make sure to order a box full all at that same time.

Thanks-
Carrie

Hi Everyone,

The shipping default on the online order blank is sometimes a little "off," because it's linked to UPS Ground shipping. We try to send orders the least expensive way to get something to you. We also estimate the amount of time it will take, one way vs. another.

In some cases, a flat rate box from the U.S. Post Office will be the best way to ship the Oupost book (especially to NY), and that is $9.80. (A good point to remember is that there's no weight limit for it, so if you want more products that will fit into that box, the shipping will still be the same).

In other cases, if we know it's going to take us a few more days to actually get to town for the Post Office and the price via UPS is close (UPS comes here every day), we'll send it UPS.

I hope that helps explain the shipping cost quotes.

For Sisterhood Members who didn't get the first e-mail, please e-mail me directly and I'll send you a copy: iris@maryjanesfarm.org

Thanks!

~Sunny

I'm betting she means another copy of the first e-mail. I also only received the second e-mail for sisters who had already ordered the book prior to the discount offer.

Is the shipping to NY really going to be $12+???

That is discouraging to me. I'd like to order the book but don't want to pay that much shipping.

Hi Carrie,

Yes, it's true, Farmgirl Sisterhood Membership does have its rewards! The May Special will be sent out within the next day or so (and it just "may" have something to do with the new Outpost book, due in stores on June 24th)!

Stay tuned!

Warm smiles,

~Sunny
