Posted - May 19 2008 : 3:34:24 PM Hi, I'm new -- just joined over the weekend. It's great to find this lovely place on the internet! Anyhoo: I looked up in the chapters section and discovered there's one listed right in my own town (which is rather amazing as it's a SMALL town). I also noticed there's a chapter in the town where I work fifteen miles away -- again I was amazed because that's also a little town!
I've sent an e-mail to the contact person in my hometown and am waiting to hear back. . . But I was wondering. . . Is it permissible to join two chapters? I am thinking each chapter will have it's own "personality" or focus according to who started it and they might do very different activities from each other, so it might be fun to belong to both.
Anyway, that's my question of the day. I thought I'd ask before sending off an e-mail to the other group. A thousand humble apologies if it's been asked before as I couldn't find it in the archives.
Thanks, Renee M.
