Well I listed the add for the Cherry Blossom Farmgirls on Craigslist. I got an email today from someone who is very interested but wanted to know more about the "Chapters". I'm new at this myself and haven't received my packet yet. Any good ideas on what I should include in my email back???
Thanks Ladies!

I know, right? :) He totally admires us and really gets excited about the projects and things, but when he says to people at work or whatever, "we went to see one of Jonni's Farmgirl friends this weekend..." or "One of the farmgirls is a beekeeper and we're going to take beekeeping classes..." inevitably people say, "Farmgirls?" and so he said he had to come up with something "mainstream" that regular folk would understand :)

Thanks Jonni!
I laughed when I read what your husband calls us because since I have joined the Farmgirls my husband has been calling me "Girl Scout".

I would combine both Jonni and Patricia's advice. If she comes by the forum, I think she will get the idea pretty quick!

I would mail her the press release, it really says it all, and a link to MJF.

Gosh, I would say just that. This is a new venture, and you're looking for like minded-kindred spirits who like Mary Jane and her books and concepts and the chapter information is on it's way from the farm as you write...get her information and contact her back as soon as you get it. My husband describes it as "Big girl Brownies with a focus on community outreach, green living and "womenly" arts (like knitting, sewing, etc...) You CERTAINLY don't have to call us big girl brownies, but maybe that will give you an idea....Thank her enthusiastically for her interest! I'm so excited that someone responded to you--yay!!!
