Anyone interested in an artful teatowel swap? I thought that might be a fun winter project....handmade teatowels that we each embellish...by embroidering, or quilting, adding trims, etc....any idea that you can come up with.! If you are interested, sign up here and give us your swapping ideas (lets keep our actual teatowel ideas a secret) and then we will make a plan for swapping based on how many are interested.

ok, here is the deal.....you will make one set of 2 teatowells for another girl on the swap.....sign up here and I will pick someone for you....and you will not have the same person who has you...it will be sort of like our secret santa swap.....but teatowels instead. Size and style are your choice...but be creative!!! deadline is March 20th

Sign ups close January 20th

So, let me know if you are interested....So far...

Please add me as well *~* I can't wait to see who I get :)
My colors are all across the board so pretty much anything goes. Italian Chefs on things along with lots of flower sack towels, white pottery, blue and white pottery, a black and white checked floor and touches of red and goldenthin yellow everywhere so any colors would be great.
Thanks again for the warm welcome emails :)

my kitchen cabinets are a very light sage green color. My counters are an ugly yellow but I decorate with antique tools a kitchen utensils. So anything that fits a country theme is great but I would be happy to display and use anything!

Oh, good...I can do this Thanks Bev!

Since I'm traveling and in this apartment for a while I thought I'd do something really dramatic.

Here's the fabric I'm using...Free Spirit-Chocolate Lollipop collection...it's a chocolate background with pastel to medium pink, aqua, the green reminds me of the Chartreuse Green from the 1950's..kind of a blend of lime-olive. Sounds aweful but it's really pretty. The dot fabric has a deeper pink and a true Olive green.

Here's the companion fabric:

I like to vote towards random TeaTowels and anything after 15th cool with me. I love to work on tea towels, and as long as i have plenty of time, the reciever/partner will love it.
