I thoughtit was a little funny when those 3 buck goats parked themselves in front of the gate when the poor new ladies wanted to come in...that smell! Nobody wants to be near a buck goat, but I have to say you handled yourself (and them) like a true pro! snowberryfarm	Posted - Jan 12 2008 : 10:42:49 PM Oh Dalyn, it was so much fun, and I am so looking forward to the bartering...I think you and I had the same idea! I have to say my favorite part of today was turning up your driveway to find those 3 huge goats who looked at me, then took off trotting...or is it galloping? up your driveway in front of me in the snow. It was so funny! I so wish I would have had my camera!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Next month will be fun, I'll need to start workin on some farmgirl projects. Michelle
QueenofQuiteAlot	Posted - Jan 12 2008 : 7:44:05 PM We got together today for a Tea and Chat. Had a blast getting to know some new gals- very nice ladies! We decided to meet monthly and do some projects and classes together and my favorite part: bartering! We will bring whatever we have that is handmade or from our gardens or farms to the meetings, like extra eggs, veggies, knitted or crotched things, crafts, etc. to trade with each other. Bring a full basket, empty it and fill it again! Very fun! I'll post pictures on my blog in the next day or two. The teen girls who came enjoyed the tea and goodies and then went right out to the barn to visit the dairy goats and then they rode the paint mare around the pasture. Good times on the ranch! BTW- I have lots of pictures of the ranch critters on my blog lately. YOu might enjoy seeing them.
