Howdy! I am hoping to plan our first chapter meetup and need input on where and when. Even though I am in Vista, Calif anyone can join this chapter if they want to, just let me know! Already have three members who live in Los Angeles and a honorary member in Norway! So, no matter where you are, you are welcome to fellowship with us to the degree you are able.
Local farmgirls please stay safe during this trying wildfire time and when the dust (ok, ash) settles, please post your meeting place ideas and possible times.
Here some ideas I have to get you thinking...
- a flea market day together at the Rose Bowl! (only happens one day a month so not a lot of options on when...)
- a antiquing day together in olde towne Orange and of course tea! anythyme...
- a potlucky (at my house if this remodel ever finishes...)
- a picnic at a beach, park or mountain
- ?

I have sent out a email to new edgehill herb farmgirl members and want to bump this post up for them to find easily.
aLSO, The persimmons on my tree are ready and huge! ONE PERSIMMON could easily make more than a cup of pulp and a batch of cookies. Any one in driving distance can u-pick them...my zip is 92084 if you want to determine 'driving distance"

Oh Karen,
I so miss the Rose Bowl/flea market,,,,one of the things I miss about having left behind when we moved.
My daughter & I would spend countless hours and still never make it through the whole place!
We truley did "shopped till we dropped" lol!

Sounds to me like you have a great group started. Love the antiquing idea- if only I were closer. Be sure to get some pictures of your meeting and goings-on!
