Posted - Dec 20 2007 : 5:24:17 PM Annika, didn't see a pic of your apron yet. I do like the pattern you picked. I have a pattern that looks just like that. Yours has a very nice flow to the bottom of it.
I wore mine today to make Christmas cookies. :-) I used the farmgirl pattern from Bev, and I also adjusted the waist to make it fuller...did that by looking at her pics. It is really comfortable. yep, gotta get a pic of it soon. Can we see yours??

Posted - Nov 14 2007 : 9:39:06 PM Annika, that pattern is so cute! I feel horrible because I was one of the first people to get the fabric, but I haven't even chosen a pattern yet! Yikes! By the time I get through my pile of mending, and work on some Christmas projects, it's time for bed! Maybe once the holidays are over, I'll be able to get more sewing done. |

Posted - Nov 14 2007 : 07:26:02 AM Well, I think that besides distance, lack of time was another part of the reason for the cyber chapter project...so we are just being true to form =) Good luck to both of you on catching up with everything and turning a blind eye towards incoming disasters until you can get your aprons done it IS a cute pattern and really easy to put together
Thank you ladies for the encouragements

Posted - Nov 14 2007 : 04:47:10 AM Annika, I really like your pattern. I haven't decided yet what pattern to use. I can't wait to see a picture of you in your cute apron. Thanks for the inspiration. ![](icons/icon_smile.gif) Denise, I totally understand what you are going through. I am in the same place. Not enough time, and then when I do have the time, I feel like I have to finish other things first. I am definitely going to make time this weekend..(hopefully ) |

Posted - Nov 13 2007 : 4:52:37 PM Annika, What a cute pattern! I still haven't had a chance to get to mine. You know how it goes, I have good intentions and some days I can't get to it and then the days I can I think, "I'd better finish this other thing first" and so the little time I get is spent on something else and lo the apron still sits waiting to be sewn. It is cut out so I guess I'm halfway there anyway. Oh I just remembered I need to get that page in the mail too. Finished just need to get out to mail it. Boy, my good intentions seem to go right down the tubes sometimes.

![](http://img.sewingtoday.com/cat/10000/itm_img/B5125.jpg) I would be delighted to share Autumn! Hankies and frilly napkins make really sweet pockets. I have been having a bad case of "Oh God! which pattern am I gonna use?????" Silly girl, I just had to walk away and quit angsting over it and I found this really cute Butterick pattern that fits the fabric that I have nicely. I'm plopping a couple of hankie pockets on it and calling it mine! I'm doing "A" because it is just so cute and girlish, with the Blue bee and clover fabric. I'll get photos as soon as the pins aren't sticking me to death =]

Posted - Nov 13 2007 : 11:09:01 AM As soon as I can get some pain meds for the arthritis or what ever it is in my hands, I'll finish my apron...it's already looking cute and I'm adding antique hankie pockets to it just for fun. I'm trying to get to the journal page I really am :(
