Happy Day Everyone!! I'm new to the Sisterhood and a new member of the BWOB Farmgirl Chapter (and excited about it all!!) I can't wait to get started earning patches.

SEED SWAP - I happen to have some fantastic basil seeds from plants that re-seed themselves every year. I've been letting them go wild in a coule of half-whiskey barrels for several years now. If anyone would like some basil seeds sent, please e-mail your address and I'll get them out right away. This particular basil is very tasty, hearty and easy to grow. I've never had to do anything except water it. I cook with it all the time and freeze fresh leaves in ice cubes for adding to recipes in the winter.

I'm learning to sew and welcome any suggestions, websites, etc, to help me on my way. Thanks! thyme2cook

Almost done with my BWOB patch and (I think) it looks really darn cute!!! DH helped--he made suggestions about what I should embroider--it was pretty sweet. He's still a farmgirl in training, though

Kathy....did you get the e-mail newsletter from BWOB last week. I just suggested that that might be something fun....now that we are all getting tons of seed catalogs with lots of unusual specimens..... We have not actually started the sign ups, yet....just something to think of as you order your seeds for the summer......or whey you are out and about in your favorite garden/potted plant store!!!

Beverly,
I am missing something here. A seed exchange? I must have overlooked that swap.
I am from the "garden state" yet my garden consists of potted plants only. I would love to join if possible. Is there another thread on this swap? When would you like this? Can it be flowers or vegtables?

do we have to register separately(sp?) for the henhouse?
Been trying to get into ours and when it asks for password and login it is not accepting the one I use for here.

Bev,

I will be sending out my journal page on Monday. Were we supposed to put them in plastic page protectors? Also, should I use the return address from the envelope you sent me?

I love the idea of a seed exchange. How many extra packets should we pick?
