Hey everyone! I just registered a Farmgirl Chapter, and am working on finding some fellow farmgirls in this area. I love making bread using my grandma's recipe, and was thinking about having a bread making "party" for our first gathering. Does anyone out there have some good bread recipes? Quick bread or yeast, sweet or savory, I would love to hear some of your favorites!

Thanks loaves! (loads )

Thanks for the ideas. I am going to keep those! I think with Fall right about here, and having talked to a couple of "future farm girls," we are going to try making pretzels! That is another wonderful thing my grandma used to make! Any other bread ideas are welcome!

Thanks again!

Congrats on the new charter, Holly! Good luck with the effort...one of my favorite recipes is to use 50/50 blend pf white bread flour and whole wheat flour, with raisins and cranberries.

One of my favorite variations is to toss a teaspoon or so of pesto in the dough. So good with tomato dishes.

We make a difference.
