I'm in search for fellow Okies! I have started a chapter in NW Oklahoma called "The Gingham Girls". So far it is just me, one friend and 6 hens. Any other okies out there in the NW part of the prairie?

Ohhhhh!! You're close to me!!! I'm just outside of Wayne, which is not too awful far from you. You should start one. I'll be a member.

Shawnee or Moore isn't too far from me ~ I'm in Noble (just south of Norman). Anyone starting a chapter in this area?

I love the name "Gingham Girls" - So very cute! when I am creating things I always tend to place gingham on it somewhere :)

And "Red Dirt" - I can see it! very clever.....Sounds like the Oklahoma farmgirls are trying to give the Texas farmgirls a run for thier $$$ :) as far of organizing and meeting up! How fun!

Well, Rebecca, maybe we should meet up in Guthrie for a Farm Girl luncheon!

Sniff, I'm in Edmond. If you ever come this way let me know!! I'd be glad to meet you guys. There is a Farmgirl in Shawnee and one around Moore. That's all that I know of, forgive me if I have forgotten any.

LOL Isn't that the truth? We had 6 in a weeks time and it was a record for the year of 1974 that I was there, and the first week I had moved there. You may know the Begley's from that State? They are relations of my sister and her family.

Thanks, Pauline. Yes, we get those nasty twisters around here. I'd almost rather a hurricane. Then you get a longer chance to run!
