hi,philsann, and thanks for the birthday greetings. we had a fun day putzing around and now it seems we are turning it into a 4 day putz which we havent had in a long time....if ever!
we are both born and raised in texas and i have never lived anywhere else. the dh lived in arkansas once and also in the military lived overseas. but i have never been on an airplane and have barely been out of texas.
i do not have the travel but at all, but i love hearing others tales about travel.
the dh is what we call a boone brother. his mother was a boone and they are related to daniel boone via his brother isreal. so they have not always been texas folks.
i do not know about my people as i was adopted so i know i was born in austin to a red haired irish girl and that is about it.
my folks that raised me where texans from galveston and they were all from england and ireland before that. so far as i know we have no kiss or kin from pennsylvania, but have some great friends from there.
dont know where we got putzing from but i do not that it is a fine art form and me and the dh can do some putzing with the best of them.whew, anywho, thanks again for the birthday wishes , better get off here before i turn another year older. see what a good putzer i am?

Oh Frannie, I do hope your birthday was very happy indeed. And did I read the word "PUTZ"? It sounds like Philadelphia to me. Were you or your parents raised there? HA!

thank you all so much, it makes the journey into senior citizen farmgirl more wonderful with all the well wishes from my farmgirlfriends. and a special thanks of course to our galpal nance from france/virginia. dh surprised me by taking the day off work so we are gonna putz around the farm together and just do what "oldfolks do" we are the same age for just 8 days then he has a birthday and he will once again be the older man in my life.
2 scorpios in the same house, now you know that can get crazy.
