I haven't stopped by mjf near as often as I'd like, but today was very different. Today is my 35th birthday. My DH is working 12 hr shifts, 7 days a week, with a 4 hr commute. My oldest DS was going to his dads house, my middle DDs were going to my mothers house for the weekend. It would have been just me and my youngest DS. My DH and I are wanting another baby, but the test was negative this morning, and Dr.'s call 35 "advanced maternal age". I have had 8 pregnancies, and have four children. My odds before this bday weren't great. I was feeling kinda down most the morning, but then I checked the mail. I got my Maryjane Farmgirl issue for my birthday. What an issue!! Fun ideas, beautiful pictures(as always), and lots of distractions!! Already have a month of Sundays worth of ideas. Thanks for lighting the candle on my cupcakes!(((hugs)))

The tears I shed then, watered the flowers I harvest now.

Thank you all for the birthday wishes. The week following was so busy, DH had surgery the day after my baby sister got married!!! I have been so busy, making hair pieces, suit vests, ties, preparing soft foods for hubby's recovery, I forgot to continue in my self-pity! Lol. When things are "go go go", that's when I am the happiest. Things are great, I am loved, and 35 isn't dead, so it all turned out fine in the end. (((Hugs)))

Annette, I hope your birthday was wonderful. I feel I know you since you live in the area I grew up. I lived in the house my grandfather built on Grand Island, just north of the Isleton bridge.
