Hey gal pals! Thanks again to everybody for the well wishes. Couldn't thank you yesterday because the computer was having hot flashes I guess. Gee, can hardly wait to experience those myself!! Birthday fun continues... We bought a teeny brilliant red cyclamen and a little flat of pansies the other day, but that isn't enough to satisfy me! So I am off to defoliate the country side (Nancy Jo!!!). We are heading for northern France tomorrow morning to spend a few days with hubby's sis in law, then head back to Paris to fetch my mom at the airport! So while I will be off gallavanting, probably insulting (or at least confusing) everyone I meet with my first grader's grasp of the language, and scooping up moss and pinecones and interesting twigs along the way, I am gonna miss you guys like crazy, being computerless for a week!!!! Love ya'll, Nance

Hi Nance and happy birthday,
I was thinking of you on the 11th - just couldn't get to the computer with visitors here. Sounds like you had a great day though!!
Best wishes,
Jayne

You guys are the greatest! I may not be a senior citizen yet (51 yesterday) but am fast approaching the legal speed limit, as I joked to Texas Frannie earlier! I feel so blessed to have found so many kindred spirits/gal pals down here on the farm; your postings and our often funny conversations have made all the difference in my new life here in Oohlala land being a happy one. Had a terrific birthday; we began the celebration a day earlier at the cool flea market. YEE HAAA Got a beautiful old ovensafe casserole with my favorite pansies on it AND I got the lady to come down 5 euros!!! ALso found a few pieces of old (machine made certainly) lace which I had to have, but have no idea what to do with it. Gotta read some of the archives for some neat ideas. And "the postcard guy" was there again too, and I even scored a free card from him, I bought so many! If I had seen an old table or chair in a ditch on the way home my day would have been perfectly complete! Anyway, thanks again so much for the well wishes. Love ya'll, Nance in France

Bon Anniversaire pour vous! (It's been a long time, pardon the grammer and what ever else I've forgotten...) just know that I wish you a day filled with all the people and things you love ( and a year of great junking doesn't hurt either!) Many blessings to you!

with a happy heart
