Happy Birthday my sweet little farmgirl!
Today Nora turned two! She is facinated by all things trains, so my mom baked a cake for her and I frosted it with a train pulling the #2. It was my first time actually really frosting a cake and I am pretty pleased with the way it turned out!
The day started off rough. She woke up having an allergic reaction. We think it might be the laundry detergent that I had to buy a month or so ago (ran out of the homemade stuff and didn't have the materials to make new).
So we had a bit of a rough morning trying to manage the allergic reaction, but she had a wonderful birthday party with her cousin who shares her birthday! Abby turned 3, and Nora 2. It was a great day. I was fun seeing my family and getting the share lots of laughs and new memories!
I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful child in my life. She's a sweetie, a spitfire, a real trooper, an artist, a dare devil and so much more. Each day brings something new and exciting with her.
So here's to a wonderful to years and looking forward to the next year of learning and exploration with her! Thank you, my daughter, for showing me the world through a child's eyes.
