hi girls, don't faint i am here, just have been soooo busy, gardening and trying now to make bio deisel soap! any ideas out there to an easy recipe? or anyone making it? i really like it, it is gentel on the skin just having a hard time getting it to set hard enough.. it seems quite soft. i would love to hear of some being made. i find it isn't very sudsy, but i must say i do like it. summer was way too short. been preserving pumpkin for pies, and getting ready now for thanks giving, and halloween new grandbaby on the way end of october, so been busy, busy, also, had another son married this summer wow what a busy short summer it was for me. it has been sooo long on here, i even forgot my own password lol! tlty. have a good day love from jo!

well girls i am here again been tinkering with that bio deisel soap, i finally got it to a science. it is lovely soap
i must say, it is going good, really good for dry skin. it is always brown in colour, but that is fine as it washes out of face cloths easily, and it scents very well with essential massage oils. it s so easy to make, i am finding it a lot easier then the other. but i still make the other soap too. i will always love that good ol suet and rendered oils soap. i have labels made for it now, called (jo'ssoaps) doing ok in sales localy. my little grandson is growing fast and going to be a big boy after all his ordeal with being premature. he is a cutie. he was a worry for all at first. well ya'll have a happy easter and will tune in again soon love as ever jo

Hi, Jo. Glad to see you again. I have never heard of bio diesel soap, so you won't get any input from me. Interesting though.

hi girls well i got the bio soap to the point of at least being able to handel it. it is very soft and i find it slimy, but i must say it is beautifull soap. i may work with it again, and try to come up with something to make it a bit harder, not sure how i will do that but i have to get my thinking cap on everytime i try a batch it is getting better though lol! but from what i am learning it is a soft soap anyways. will keep you posted. all for now jo~

hi alee yeh my nephew makes bio deisel you can burn the deisel in a motor. he has loads of glycerin left over from the fuel he makes from fat from resturant greese. you can look it up on line it writes about it there.>>> it is pure glycerin it has some methanol in it a bit anyways, you have to burn off the methanol then you can either just make liquid glycerin soap which i made already. it is easy but the cake soap i am having trouble with getting a good recipee. i had found one on line, but the soap seems awfully soft, i am just learning how to do it so it is trial and error right now lol!, i make all my own soaps with lye and suet ect. so had to try my hand at this too, anyways, i am hopeing someone will know something on here about it, or maybe shed some light on it for me later jo~.
