I had done this a few years back with a pen pal. What is consists of is having a tiny teddy bear - well could be up to 8" I guess. We used to send them to each others house and would take pictures of them in various places - could be close to home or other scenic sites and we kept a travel journal and they stayed for about 2-3 wks and went home with treasures from their journey. This is especially nice if you have children - it can be a good learning experience to send the travel teddy home with information about the state/places he visited and what he and other teddys or dolls did together, perhaps they had a woodland tea party or some other similar activity.

Hi Joy - just email me your name (ages and names of children would be great too) and your address. Getting some people signed on and want to do this as a one to one exchange and then perhaps when our bears or dolls come back home we can send them out to a new place to journey.

I didn't know about the traveling dolls - I must have missed that one. Okay, if you are interested just do as with the other lists and email me so I can keep a tally.
