Posted - Feb 18 2007 : 9:57:21 PM Hi Farmgirls! I took my first knitting class today with my daughter, and loved it! She is only 5, and is so motivated for me to teach her. I am now looking for yarn as I know we will have many a knitting project ahead of us.
For trade I have some nice fabric of different lengths, and some magazines in good condition. They are:
Martha Stewart Living-some newer, some vintage Country Marketplace Country Living Country Sampler Sunset, and even a Sunset guide to ORGANIC GARDENING

Posted - Feb 19 2007 : 08:28:49 AM I think I have several skeins of yarn in a box somewhere that she could at least practice with. When I find my craft stuff and the yarn, I'll let you know so I can send it your way if you still want it (it could be awhile ).
Oh, this isn't for the trade or anything -- she can just have it.

Posted - Feb 19 2007 : 08:04:27 AM Well, since I am a new knitter, I don't know much about yarn! We will be making scarves, blankets, dog sweaters, etc. So anything that will work for those would be wonderful!

Posted - Feb 18 2007 : 10:47:18 PM Hi Diane,
I have a variety of fabrics. They are nice quality. Many are homespun prints, some are floral. Most are of dark warm tones like deep reds, browns, greens, etc. I use them for crafting, mostly. I have from fat quarters to 1/2 yards.
