<b>Okay, I have to tell you that I celebrate May Day and look for the wee ones each year. I have been tempted to try and catch the dew off the ferns in my woods too. I have been known to weave a wreath of ivy and violets and tiny pink roses and wear it on my head as a crown and put on a vintage gown (I have my eye on a wispy purple one at the Goodwill store) and traipse the woods just feeling the magick of the warm May day.
So.......I was thinking that we could exchange some sort of May Day type item - doesn't have to be real flowers, faux is fine - perhaps a little something special to leave out for the faerie folk - or some other tidbit associated with this wonderful holiday.
If you are interested, just send me an email with the usual name and addy - if you have done so in the spring fling seed exchange, just email me and let me know your name and I will add it to this new list.
Lets have a cut off date of April 1st to give us all time to gather some goodies!

Hey Kathy and everyone...would you believe I just opened my package. I fell asleep last night putting my kids to bed and have been running all day long!!!

Kathy...We must be nearly on the same wavelength!!! So many exciting surprises in my present...cannot wait to sip some tea in the great cup...water is almost ready, now!! My 7 yr old will love the wall clings, she will have to negotiate for them, I think they are just terribly cute. The how to book is so much fun, love it. Bubbles, great fun as well. Very small wind chime, very good for our fairy land corner of the yard. Stickers of the gorgeous butterfly kind, very cool. Flower pot, colorful and totally useful, just got snap dragons today, now they have a home. Some fun and colorful beads, very decorative. More tea bags!!! Gloves for the garden, I need these...I bet I misplace my gloves at every stop along the way as go from bed to bed in my yard. I always find them, but what a time saver if I just kept a spare set in my pocket!!! Well, Kathy this box is packed full of treats for me!!! Thanks so much.

I wish my project for you was done and in the mail, you will flip when you see some similarities. I will need to hurry up and try to pull it together. I cannot believe it is not done yet...Arghhh!! You will probably not choose me for a partner again, I promise I will make it worth your wait. Thanks again...jess

Girls you should see the lovely little things that Grace sent to Dani....oh to be a child and have such a pure eye for May Day!! The little rocks, antique teacup, little straw girl with a basket of flowers, a vintage tin, stickers and a sparkly butterfly eraser.....just precious!!

Oh, and there was even a little surprise in it for me.......thank you Tasha, I love the clayart.....so very organic and absolutely stunning.....I do love holding it! The laundry soap is everything you say it is too. Wonderful!!! Thank you so very much!!!

Yes, the apron was homemade. The picture on the card is another one of the budding art hobbies- photoshop. I have been making "art" with photoshop for a while and enjoy that very much. I am glad you liked your box. It was so much fun to create things for you. Have a wonderful Mayday!

Angie,
I am so glad that you liked your package and that it was able to cheer you up. That posy was really fun to make, I'd never made one before! Maybe soemday you'll post some pictures of you tole painting. I'd love to see it. I also recieved your package which was great! The fairy who holds the beautiful handmade card is sitting on our nature table. I love that card. I am also ready to use those bath products that smell so good! There was a very pretty apron inside too. Did you make that yourself? Beautiful. Thanks so much, Angie and Happy May Day, everyone.

Me, stressing...ALWAYS!!!!! I fear I will miss May Day. I will have to put it in the mail on Monday. I am still not done, never fear, it will be ready soon. May have to change gears at last minute, but I hope not, and then you will get a box you will hopefully enjoy. I think I am always the last to finish.

I got my package from Megan when my husband just walked in from work. It's been such a very hard week and my attitude has slipped to the dangerously grouchy level. But I saw the box sitting there and felt likea little kid at Christmas and my heart was instantly lifted! Megan- you did awesome. I found a box full of colorful tissue paper with pockets of surprises tucked away. A beautiful candle with the most gorgeous spring themed wreath to go around the bottom. Some yummy chocolates, a package of paint brushes for me to use for my tole painting. A bottle of fairy dust and a vial of fragrance that smelled so light and wonderful. But the most special little trinket was a a handmade Mayday posy with dried roses in it. Roses, by the way- one of my favorite. Thank you SO much Megan. You really made my day! The posey is hanging on the cupboard door..... to keep my smile around for next week.
