As some of you already know I'm leaving Texas. So I have a lot of great organic Texas gardening books (most are in perfect condition)to trade with someone who has a book I'm looking for. So here it goes...
I have the following to trade:

Plants for Texas -Howard Garrett
Herbs for Texas -Howard Garrett
Texas Organic Gardening- Howard Garrett
Xeriscape for Central Texas
Travis County Master Gardener Assoc's Gardening Guide for the Austin Area
Native and Adapted Landscape Plants -Grow Green
Fruit & Nut Tree Growing Guide for Central Texas (poster/booklet) -Treefolks
Tree Growing Guide for Aust (poster/booklet) -Treefolks

I would like any of the following or other books/ magazines along the same lines:

The complete book of self sufficiency -John Seymour
4 season harvest -Eliot Coleman
Root cellaring -Bubel
Seed to Seed -SSE Guide Book
Ball Complete Book of Home Preserving
Organic Housekeeping -Ellen Sandbeck
Landscaping with Native Plants of Michigan -Lynn M. Steiner
Or a few organic gardening magazines, old house journal, or other magazines a long those lines.

Emily, the good news is our taste are about the same, the bad news is our taste are about the same.
I may check out the used book store also and see if they have anything that might work for you.

We are looking at either rehabbing an old house or building a "green" house ourselves. So if you have any books along those lines I would be interested in them as well.

Give me through the weekend to go through some things and I'll see what I come up with.
It looks like you're moving to Michigan and are interested in organic, canning and gardening. Are there any other interest I can look for?

Destiny, It sounds like you could put most of the books to good use! Just email me if you have any books or magazines you think I might be interested in. Thanks!

Emily, since I'm stuck here in west Texas, xeriscaping is the only way you can garden and I'm defintely doing organic so I like the Howard Garrett books. I would love to get some of your book, I can only dream of someday moving to the Austin area. I'm not sure I would have any of the books you're looking for but I'll see what I do have.
