Posted - Dec 13 2006 : 1:48:09 PM I can't find it in the stores anymore, and I'm in need of 3 yards of the Vintage Rose fabric by Waverly. I'm recovering a couch and love seat and I changed plans after purchasing the fabric a while ago. Time to finish a project that has been in the works for a while. Thanks! Posted - Jan 13 2007 : 08:26:41 AM Thanks for all of the posts on this. I found my swatch with the name on it. It was Norfolk Rose - I don't know why I thought Vintage Rose. I just found 3 1/4 yards at Joanne's (all that was left), and their 50% off Home Fabric sale started yesterday! My couch and love seat will be done soon!!!! Ann http://annforrester.tohe.com |

Posted - Jan 02 2007 : 7:45:21 PM Any luck finding the fabric you're looking for? I have two brand new tableclothes in Waverly Vintage Rose from Target (60" x 84"). They do have a red gingham border around the edge but I think you could probably get what you needed out of them. Send me an email and I can send pictures/more info if you like.

Posted - Dec 14 2006 : 1:25:34 PM Thanks for the great response on this. Vintage Rose is the same that Target carried for a while. (I actually bought it before it showed up at Target - this project has been in process for a while). It is different than the Norfolk Rose. I've checked with Joann Fabrics, but will again. Hancock Fabric is who I got it from originally, and they said that it was discontinued. I've looked on e-bay, but will again. New things are listed all of the time. Ann http://annforrester.tohe.com |

Posted - Dec 14 2006 : 10:00:33 AM I have a little old french chair that I had upholstered in the Norfolk Rose - it's just darling, if I do say so myself! I have a bit of that fabric left over, but it's less than 2 yards. Darn. I was hoping that it was the right fabric and that I had more left over. Sorry!!!

Posted - Dec 13 2006 : 11:59:27 PM I looked at the pictures on eBay and this is Norfolk Rose from the Waverly Vintage Collection. It is still available at Joann's. There was a Vintage Rose from Waverly several years ago that was pink roses on a cream background with sage green leaves.

Posted - Dec 13 2006 : 9:06:12 PM Ebay has a bunch of it listed in various shapes and forms. There are pictures too. It is the oatmeal background with the red roses that Target had when they first started carrying Waverly. I have a lampshade and had some valances but gave them to my Sister in law. I have seen this on the large rolls at JoAnn's in the home dec. section fairly recently. Do you have a store near you? If you don't let me know, I can check to see if they still have it. I remember the dye lots varied quite a bit with this fabric, do you have the dark or washed version?

Posted - Dec 13 2006 : 8:12:20 PM Ann -- can you post a picture of the fabric? I'm pretty sure it's not the same as Norfolk Rose but wouldn't know unless I can see it.

Posted - Dec 13 2006 : 2:09:28 PM Is it the same as Norfolk Rose? I did a google search, and that's what seems to pop up. Joanne fabrics has it online and on sale. Hope this helps. http://www.joann.com/catalog.jhtml?CATID=59440 |
