I've just learned about how small the International Knitters Community really is and am so happy to have discovered swapping with them all! Happy yarn dreams to all...

Posted - Nov 30 2006 : 05:18:49 AM Ooh cool, my swap partner Susan just posted a photo of what I sent to her. You can check it out here: http://coffeeswap.blogspot.com/ under the heading "This Package is No Small Beans!" (first entry last I checked).
And yes, I think I will start a knitters' swap on MJF now that this one is over. Great idea Jana! We had talked about starting up a sock knitters' swap after the holidays. I'll get it going on this board soon so we can have sign-ups but the send-by date won't be until January. (No need to get anyone extra stressed-out in December!)
Stay tuned for details!

A knitting swap would be wonderful! Are you thinking of maybe having one thru this board? Truth be told, I'm a frustrated knitter. Back in the 70s I knit a few sweaters in college, but starting back at it again has been frustrating. I love the process of knitting, just can't seem to finish anything. Also, I love Depth of Field!!! Whenever I happen to hop the border from WI, I go there. I LOVE THAT PLACE!!!
