I have a Lucet and some woolen yarn that I'd like to barter for wool fabric. I would like 1/2 - 1 yard of 100% wool (any color) that is app. 60" wide. The Lucet and wool are newly purchased this fall at a sheep and wool fair. It's the kind that does not have an extended handle. Very nice, just not a good fit for my hands. Thanks

bertha: I can take a photo and send it to an email, but do not know how to post a photo on this MJF site. Give me an email if you'd like me to do that.

kysheeplady: YES, the lucet makes 1 cord that is braided by means of turning the lucet and overlapping strands. I bought 2 balls of yarn - maybe 2 ozs. each? I have rolled them into balls, so don't recall. I DO know that they were naturally dyed by folks who raise their own wool.

Thank you both

The Lucet, is just for making I cord, correct? how much yarn do you have? I have tons of 100% wool fabric. I used it for rug hooking.
