03/14/14: MORE CORKS AVAILABLE! I have about 6 dozen right now and would love to pass them on to someone who can use them.

Shoot me an email if you're interested!
THANKS MUCH!
CJ

Hi there Farmgirls,

I know there are lots and lots of craft projects out there using wine bottle corks. Currently I don't have time for the projects, but I do have time for a glass of wine . . . sooooooo, I have some corks (yup, CORK, not plastic) that I'd love to pass on to someone who'd like to have them.

I don't anything in barter for them, just want to pass them on.

Post here and send me an email if you're interested.
Thanks much!
CJ

I won't be taking you up on the corks but can make a suggestion that might encourage someone. I was at a gardening conference today and one of the speakers had the suggestion of mini-planters. He drilled a hole in one end, soaked them, put in a little potting soil, planted a mini succulent cutting in each.
At some point he added a little stick on magnet on the side and had cute little planters on his fridge.
This might be a cute project for Brownies,Cub Scouts or some other kids group.

Another possiblity is to cut them in slices, and glue onto a backing for a trivet.
