Hi everyone,
I'm look to buy or trade for some Sunchokes/Jerusalem artichokes. I have a very small patch of them that I started this past spring and it is doing well. It is still blooming and looking so pretty. I would like to do another patch of them. We plan on using the tubers as treats to our animals through the winter, plus saving a few for starting new patches. So if anyone has any and would like to swap or sell them. Let me know.

Thank you tremendously for the wonderful box of sun choke tubers. I can not wait to plant but have to research it tomorrow. I love them.

Hello,

The boxes went out in the mail on Saturday. I used those boxes that are one price no matter how much they weigh. I do not know the planting requirements of the warmer climates you both live in.

We had snow flurries for three days. Nothing has stuck to the ground but we have been warned.

Sweet dreams,

Holly

How many sunchokes do each of you want? We dug a five gallon pail today. We were pulling up sunflowers and some of the artichokes had spread to the area. So, it was by accident that we dug any at all.

Kelly I received your box of garlic and walking onions. The sunchokes have buds on them now so maybe they will flower in the next week or so. Thank you so much for the bulbs.

Dee if you email me your address I will put it in my address book so I will have it when the time is right. I am trying to be organized enough to keep track of addresses in a little book instead of little pieces of paper.

Sweet dreams,

Holly

That is great Holly. Just think about what you might want to barter for and I'll see if I have it. :^) I do live if Florida so I might have some things here you can't get up north.

Dee I would be glad to send you some when ours die back. I would be glad to barter but have no idea what to ask for.

Mine have blossomed for about 2 months now. I bought about 2lbs worth from Gurneys this past spring (it wasn't a whole lot enough to do 25 square feet) and they started to have blossoms on them about July. I have more on them now. Being in Florida I have no idea when our frost will be but I plan on digging mine up when they die back. If you decide to dig some of yours up after they die back I would gladly take some off your hands. Just let me now if you want to trade, swap, or sell them to me :)

Hello,

I have hundreds maybe millions of the tubers but they have not flowered yet this season. I am not sure if it is too early to dig them up. Usually they flower after the first frost and then die back.
