So, I've got this really cute dress that was handed on to me from a friend who hosted a German exchange student two years ago (2011-2012 school year). The girl was a shopaholic, very fashionable and excellent taste. I'm not sure if she brought it with her from Germany, or bought it here in the states. (Online, it looks as though H&M may carry some Pimkie items.) I would so totally wear this dress...except that I haven't been a size 6 since junior high.
I don't have any time or light to take a good pic right now, so I'm going to try to describe it:
It's a classic red/black plaid pattern (think Catholic schoolgirl or flannel shirt).
Buttons up the front to a shirt-style collar.
Falls above the knee, with two pockets in the front. The skirt is straight, no pleats.
The cut is also straight, no belt or gathers at the waist.
fabric is a poly/viscose blend (machine washable). It's very sturdy and nice to the touch.
(The more I talk about it, the more sad I become that I will never in this life fit into this dress!)
Anyone interested? For back to school, or for yourself? I could take paypal (make me an offer!) or would entertain trades. Someone else here just turned me on to the fact that you can send amazon gift cards to an email address...I would gladly accept book credit for my own classes coming up in September.
