This Christmas Ideas book by Mary Engelbreit is full of great craft ideas for Christmas decorations and gifts. It includes knitting patterns, lots of cross-stitch, lawn snowmen (out of plywood), felt crafts, painted items, etc. The usual great ME stuff! Here's a blurb from the cover: "Whether your favorite pastime includes painting, sewing, knitting, cross-stitching, or another artful technique, you're sure to find dozens of can't -wait-to-make-it projects in this idea-rich book. The step-by-step instructions and helpful how-to photos help you create whimsical designs with professional flair."
The book is in great, unused shape, hardcover with dustjacket. In trade I'd like something of similar value (I'd put $8-10 value on this; original purchase price was $29.95). I'm into vintage buttons (isn't everyone??), vintage or vintage-look fabric (feedsack or floral), old postcards and other paper ephemera. Also open to trade for pincushions or embroidered _________ ; whatever you might make.

Katie,
Got the lovely christmas book, thankyou. Your right it has lots of craft ideas and of course pretty pictures, I feel its always nice to have the pretty pictures to look at right after I read the directions and haven't got a clue as to what they are talking about. |

Sunshine -- Since we've already done a swap (and you're correct in that the items I'm looking for are things that you want for yourself), how about if I leave this barter open in case someone else wants the book? I'll get back to you if no one else is interested. Is this OK with you? |
