Any of you want to trade me pair of socks for an apron? I have lots of socks and I love them immensely but I fear most of my Winter socks have been darned to their death....I have a few hold outs, but I think I need a new pair to wear out. I would make you an apron in return...

ETA: I can't knit to save my life.....

Oh, I bet I have some yellow yarn that would be suitable for socks! I will dig around tonight and see what I can come up with!

Tasha - I went through my sock yarn stash this morning and came up with three yarns that I think I have enough of to make your socks! I'll post a pic (if I can figure the durn thing out) - basically there is a dark blend (denim blue/black) and medium blend (blue/lavender) and a light blend (yellow/blue/white). If you want to just trust me (!!!), let me know which you'd like. I'll start on them soon....

OK Tasha, I would love to make a pair of socks for you on my knitting machine. But can't promise when I will get to it, sometime before Christmas? I was just writing down all the things I have already committed to do (besides normal "stuff") and there are 15 items on the list... Would that be OK? Do you have a color preference, are stripes OK?

It's a deal!!! I will look through my stash of sock yarn and tell you what I have - better yet, I will send you a pic. You'll have to measure your foot from back of heel to end of toe! I love any excuse to knit socks, but now I am truly motivated!
