Having searched far and wide on the availability of Garden Gnomes for a certain someone on my Christmas list, it occurred to me to post here in case any of you have one or more Garden Gnomes to barter or sell.

I'd be interested in any gnomes looking for a new home; not particularly the scary or sorcerer type but the gardener, wise man (hmmm...maybe that is the sorcerer after all?) handyman pose, or whatever you might have.

Thanks!

Jo

I also have wanted a gnome for several years, but don't want to buy one. It's not a financial issue -- it's like my desire for antiques. There's the history of the piece, the worn-ness. My dh thinks I'm a bit "touched" because I tend to prefer the used over the new. Some day I'll find the perfect little gnome at a garage sale or auction!

Susan,
I'd love a picture of your little fellow if you don't mind.
Thanks,

Jo

Hi Jo - I was left a weathered, pale little fellow by the people who previously owned my house. He has been bleached white and has obviously had his little gnome hands full for a long time....but I would be very happy to email a pic of him and, if he's what you're looking for, I'd be happy to mail him.

Thanks, all - the Design Toscano is a great site...I like the "Welcome" gnome, so that may be my choice. I'm off to check out Borders, too!

Thanks, All! I'll keep looking, and maybe a little gnome will decide to heed my call.

I don't have one to trade but found a wonderful one at Target earlier this year - it is cast iron.. I looked online and they don't seem to have them in stock but maybe in the spring?
