Posted - Dec 28 2011 : 11:31:29 AM I need some black or red velvet and black satin. I am going to be making a cover for a friend's bagpipe pipes (?)- Darker red is okay also. Anyway... a yard or two of each should be plenty.
If you have some you'd like to barter.... I have oodles of craft supplies, books, scrapbooking supplies, sewing notions and fabric, handmade items, and ????
Let me know if you are interested.

Posted - Jan 09 2012 : 6:29:40 PM Hi Angie - If you still need the velvet I have 2 yards of 45" wide dark red velvet. I've had it hanging by the selvedge so there are no creases or marks in it. |

Posted - Dec 28 2011 : 12:18:18 PM Hi Angie -
I don't have any, but when I needed some dark green velvet for a project I went to my local thrift and found a floor length velvet skirt after Christmas for a couple of dollars. You might try that too.
