Hi Farmgals,

I have a question about bartering. I have some unmade craft items that I would like to barter. Does each Farmgirl pay postage to send her own barter goodies or does the "barterer" pay for postage for both sending and receiving? Thanks.

Melanie,
I have "bartered" if you want to call it that where I just want to get rid of something and just ask for postage to send it to them. But if you are sending and they are sending something in return then usually you each pay your own postage. But you can work out any deal you both agree to. If you are sending books and they are sending hankies you might make a deal where they pay part of the postage or send an item of greater value to even it out.

Begin each morning with a song in your heart.

Melanie,
Pretty much each "barterer", both parties involved, would pay their own postage to send whatever they are sending, but not one person paying for both ways.
There may be different arrangements but that would be if the bartering farmgirls for a specific barter made those arrangements as part of that barter.
Hope that makes sense . . and helps.
