My middle firefighter son wants the book "Pride and Ownership- A Firefighter's Love of the Job" by Rick Lasky for his birthday next week. Of course he tells me this yesterday.
I just don't have the $42.00 or more they want for it used in the online places I have been searching.
I am willing to pay for part of the cost and some homemade barter items.
Anyone have it on a shelf??? *fingers crossed*

Angie, I will check with my dad. Sometimes he has books that he has finished just lying around. And yes he would have this typr of book...as we are a family of firefighters too:) I will see him in the morning and I will ask. I tries paperbackswap.com, because they have hardbacks too but there wasn't any there either.
p.s. he gave me a lot of tshirts too:) But I love getting them from all over the country:)

Best price i saw was on http://www.bookfinder4u.com/ at 26.77 including shipping. When I want a book I always look there first.

Angie - I searched e-bay and half.com both have the book like you said at about $44, Amazon.com has the audio book for $39.67 if that helps any!
