Hey Farmgirls! I'm looking for a food dehydrator. If you have one and would like to barter please contact me or post here. I will trade for anything on my blog you want.
I want to make snacks from my garden. I can only eat organic plain with no oils and stuff. www.jeanpatchbarter.blogspot.com
Thanks!

I got a great book that tells you how to dry food and recipes to use it. And, I noticed it said what kind of unit is the best to get. They recommend the ones with the fan on the side so the food dryes evenly and you don't have to rotate the trays.
Next, it said about the noise level and moisture it puts into the air. So, for me noise is an issue. I will put it in my laundry room and can close the door and moisture won't hurt that room or me.

Hi Marsha, I wish I had one to barter, but I adore mine! I was going to tell you that I found mine on Ebay a couple of years ago called the "American Harvest". It's a really good one, it was only around $30 too. Some day I'd love to get one of those wooden ones that Mary Jane talks about in her book, but they're a little out of my price range right now....
