Here it is the much anticipated round #6 of MJF Secret Sisters!
Sign ups start today (04/07) and will run through Saturday April 17. This round will start on April 22 and will last through June 22. Thats two whole months of warmer weather gifts!
The following are the rules they are simple but necessary:
Please make sure you want to follow through with this, only sign up if you plan to send your secret sister a note or small gift during these two months! So again, serious sign ups on this only!
To sign up I need the following:
Real name:
MJF screenname:
full address:
and also please list some of your favorite things such as things you may collect, favorite colors, what you like to do in your spare time etc. These will help your secret sis when sending things to you!
At the end of sign up day on April 17 I will pair you up randomally with another farmgirl who has signed up for this and will send you an e-mail whom it is. Give me a few days after sign ups are over to complete this.
Every two weeks or so send your secret sister a note or small gift, believe me, this will make her day! At the end of this round #6 on June 22 you are to reveal yourself to your secret sister via note or e-mail!
If I have forgotten something here or if you have any questions regarding the secret sisters, please feel free to e-mail me with any questions, either through this forum or at gaelictoad@aol.com!
Let the fun begin and put your thinking caps on!
PS Oh, and one more thing, once this round #6 has started, in this farmgirl barter section I will start a post entitled something like: Gifts received from secret sisters round #6. When you receive a card or gift etc. please post in that section mainly to let your secret sister know that you have received something from her! This is very important!

Hi Secret sister - I received your wonderful note and little note pad today - it was like a mini Christmas! loved the envelope and note card too! Thanks so much.
Oh and as a side note I do like hot pink and lime green, either together or separate. We are like minded on that one!

By now (Tues) all of who signed up for round six of the secret sisters should have received the info on her new secret sister!
Just a couple more things on the subject: This starts on April 22 and ends on June 22; but that does not mean you have to run out tonight and get something to send out; within the next couple of weeks will be fine! So ladies be patient!
Also for the return address use Mary Janes Farms address which is 1000 Wild Iris Lane, Moscow, ID. Use this instead of your own address so its not a dead giveaway to your secret sis!
I am also, right now, going to make a post here in the barter section that when you receive something from your secret sister you should post it for all to see and to let your secret sister know that you have received her mailing!

I just registered on MJF and would like to join the Secret Sister Round #6, to meet other "SISTERS". I have had SS in the past at church and in other social groups and really enjoy the Sisterhood Connection it encourages. What a wonderful way to communicate with other Farmgirls!

I love MJF books, magazines or others similiar like Hobby Farm HOme,Country Sampler etc. My favorite colors are: Red, golden mustard yellow, med/dark greens and black.
