Hello,
My friend who is very tiny gave me some too- big riding breeches she thought would fit me. I'm bigger than she is. They are a child's size large! No WAY am I even going to try to put them on cuz they might just get stuck. But they could be very nice for your daughter, little sister, or niece riding English or doing Pony Club
They have a LOT of wear left in them. Elastic waist and ankle, with a drawstring at the waist as well. The label says 49% poly, 39% nylon. 13% spandex, Clarino patches. Patches on legs only, NOT full seat breeches. Made in USA. Black with dark charcoal patches.
Anyone interested? Email me, let's figure out a swap. I just want to cover my postage, so it would be an easy swap.

I looked online, and Kerrits says a large is to fit a child age 12-14, 54-60 inches tall, 25-26 inch waist. I would be uncomfortable saying these are size 12-14. I have been know to fit into size 14 before! They look more like 10-12 to me, and they seem to be sized for someone average build or smaller. Then again, they will stretch. I have not seen them on anyone.

The waist is 21 inches around
Waist to ankle on outside of the breeches is 31.5 inches
The ankle measures 7 inches around.
They are stretchy.
What I ride in right now are called tights, but I measured them. I have adult small tights.
Waist 24 inches.
Waist to ankle 35 inches
Ankle 8 inches
I probably have a 27 inch waist, I'm 5 foot 2, 110 lb
I hope that helps explain the size!

Mary- can you give me any approximate measurements? My grand daughters are young still, but I have no idea what a child's large would be?
