I just went thru my thread box and I have a boatload of polyester thread that I am not keeping. I thought I'd try to swap it here. What it is, is 32 spools of Gutermann, and 9 spools of Dual Duty. The colors vary--lots of blues, a couple of reddish ones, pale pinks, and more. The dual duties are pretty much blue. Some have never had the plastic wrap off. The thread is fine, I just don't use the polyester kind.

I'm not sure what to ask for in return. What would be fair? A Foxfire book, after FOxfire 5, would be OK, or some civil war repro or homespun fabric or 30's style, as long as it's 100% cotton.
This is my first effort at bartering, and I will have more in the future, if I can work out how to upload a photo from my phone.
Thanks!

Nadine p-mailed me with an offer of some fabric, and I've gone for that. Thanks to all who responded. This gives me some confidence to try this again!
