Hi Farmgirl sisters,
I have been asked to make lap size afghans for a Hospice that needs them. Another lady is making some and we are teaching a few ladies to crochet.
I have made one and finishing up the 2nd one.

Now we are in need of yarn...any color.

Anyone have a barter idea or willing to donate for this cause?
Please let me know. Thanks so much!

Thank you so much Sarah and welcome to Farmgirls Forum.
My heart goes out to you in this time of sorrow. Don't forget to get extra rest, I believe that truly helps.
I have the wonderful feeling that I am doing something important by sharing my joy of crochet. Your encouragement is so appreciated!

This sounds like a wonderfully caring idea. I came to read the posts to get my mind off of losing my dear mother one week ago. She had hospice care here at my home as she lived with me these last few months. I'm still on "auto pilot" right now as family has been here until this afternoon. Know that what you are doing to make lap robes for patients will bring comfort to all.

If you'll send me your mailing address, I'll gather together my "loose ends" . . . Do you get access to my email thru Mary Jane? I know we're not suppose to post specific information online.

Great project! Merry Christmas :-)
