Posted - Mar 19 2006 : 10:08:51 AM Hi Everyone.
I've got this cookbook to swap. It's by Stephanie Ashcraft and Janet Eyring and it's never been used. Since we've gone vegetarian, slow cookers just don't do much for us, which is too bad since I used to love that smell of coming home to dinner being done. Anyway, this book lists everything from beverages to desserts and I'd love to swap for any other kind of cookbook (except maybe the "all the meat you can eat" kind ). Vegetarian, quick meals, or anything with local color are favorites. |

It doesn't have to be a completely meat-free cookbook, I just wouldn't have much use for "101 Ways to Cook Beef" so if you're interested in the Slow-Cooker book, e-mail me your address and I'd be happy to send it on. |

Posted - Mar 19 2006 : 10:12:47 AM I've found, too, that the less meat I cook, the less I use my slow cooker. I thought it was just me, that I didn't know how to utilize my slow cooker. But I like my veggies raw or steamed, for the most part, so the crockpot/slow cooker just isn't used as often around here as it used to be. I've got several good slow cooker books I need to pass on, too.
