I have an antique tin measuring cup for barter. Its just a plain silver colored cup with the measurements on the side of the cup. It did have a handle at one time but its no longer there. It is still functional as my gramma always used it, but i dont use it and i would like to find it a home where it will be loved again.

I like almost anything, just e-mail me if you are interested

I do have a picture but i'm not sure how to post them on here, but i can e-mail one to you

I fully understand what you mean tina, but i must get rid of some things that i have because when she passed i got the estate and all the contents of the house so needless to say i have so much stuff!! When i moved into my new house with the BF i just realised i need to get rid of some things and figured i would put the cup on here so someone could have a chance to love it too. Its still available if anyone is interested.

why don't you use it to hold cut flowers in your kitchen? or create a fake floral arrangement in it? or use it to hold pens or pencils on your desk? that way as silly as it sounds you'd still have a memory of your gramma around but giving the item a "new life" to be something you yourself would enjoy..or..turn it into a pin cushion? just a few thoughts for you on how you yourself could be able to keep your gramma's item. I must say I always hate to see folks give away things that actually might have some bit of sentimental value/ or hold a cherished memory for them. I know... sentimental softy that I am...ha But just a few thoughts for you.
