I have a full 16 oz bag and a half bag (about 8 oz) of dried white jasmine buds. I used it for the reception throw in place of rice or birdseed for my son's wedding. That does not sound like a lot but evidently jasmine is very light because I way over ordered. I made 200 1/4 cup sachets with a little over half a bag. I did mix dried lavender with it but this is one case where a little goes a long way. Anyway since white jasmine does not hold its fragrance after drying it does not benefit sachets for storage but does make a beautiful wedding throw. With rice being bad for the birds and I was afraid someone would get their eye knocked out with birdseed, white jasmine buds made a great replacement. It is delicate, has a good throw appearance and will compost into the ground. If someone would like the remaining buds I will gladly send them for the price of postage.

Hey Karen,
I'm sorry the jasmine is gone. There is a young couple here in town that is getting married and I work with her mother. She is going to use it for their wedding. But tell your cousin congrats and I wish her many many years of happiness.

IF I lived in the USA I would snatch them up. lol. My best friend is getting married on October 16 AND her favorite scent is Jasmine, duh! But as I said, I don't live in the USA so somebody else will have the joy of these :)
