I've just started to collect pretty farm aprons and only have one. I want to display them on a door in the kitchen (and also wear them!) but I haven't come across any more and would love to trade for some. I have baby clothes (baby boy 0-6 months summer) to trade, a baby sling (see previous post), Hallmark stationery, or if there is something else that you'd be interested in that I might have, let me know.

Hi Elizabeth! I too am looking to start a vintage apron collection. I will let you know if I run into any good resources. I got my first on yesterday for $5 at an antique store (the cheapest of the lot).
Do you find that it is harder to find the full aprons vs. half aprons?

Hi Elizabeth, I have vintage aprons that I am trying to trade for back issues of Mary Janes Magazine, if you happen to have any you want to trade let me know. Good luck with your apron venture. Mary Lou

Another thing I do, that I guess is actually cheating, is that I make my own from vintage linens that are beyond use in their present form. For example, in a box of auction linens was a huge old tablecloth. It was down in the bottom, and when I laid it out it was full of various yellow/brown stains. I tried everything and the stains were still there. I cut out the stained portions and made an apron and some cloth napkins from what was left. I'm planning to embroider something on the pocket before sewing it on, and then it will be done.

I find aprons at garage sales, womens church sales, and also online. and don't forget to check out thrift stores.

I forgot to ask. How do you plan to display them on the door? I'm always curious as to how other folks display their goodies!

Elizabeth, I also collect aprons, and I've found a great place to get them is on ebay. A couple of weeks ago, I got 7 aprons for under $17, including shipping. I just check every couple of days or when I think of it.

Good luck!
