Hi Farm girls,

I am in need of an old-fashioned vintage continuous towel holder for a photo shoot (and maybe even vintage continuous linen toweling, too--does anyone remember when they used to sell rolls of towelling by the yard?)...and for that future farm kitchen (you know, Grandma might have had one...with the linen toweling sewn in a circle?).

Repro/retro will do but original preferred. If you have one to sell or know of a source for what I'm looking for, I'll send you a signed copy of THE PANTRY! (now that's incentive, right?)

You can email me at info@CatherinePond.com ~ I'll also be blogging about this but wanted to run by FarmGirls, first.

Many thanks!

Catherine

Hi Catherine,
Crabapple Hill Studio has the toweling on line for 4.50 a yard.

Hi Teresa Sue,

I'm actually looking for the rolled toweling, too (in red!). Do they have a website?

Thanks!

I just bought toweling by the yard at a quilt shop in Spokane, WA, called A HEART LIKE YOURS. I bought with the thought of cutting it into kitchen towels to embroider, it was sold by the foot though, not the yard. It's white with red on both edges.

You can still buy the toweling by the yard, at least in my area. Modern designs on the edges. Never seen the rack. Sorry.
