Michelle,
You did a wondeful job!! Thank you so much for sharing. I have not had time to do much of anything with mine.
I started cutting them in half and mixing them that way. But, sorry to say, I have not gotten very far.

My fingers have lost feeling trying to sew the yo-yos and buttons on the runner. I stopped for the time being so I could get it on our table. I do plan on sewing more on though. What do you think?

Can you see the halloween aprons hanging which Sally and her mom Carole made Ashley and I. They are WONDERFUL!!! We can't wait to wear them this week. EEEEKK!!!!

Between the two runners, I used one print of all which you all contributed. I only had a handful of duplicates.

What have you all made with your halloween fabric? Please post pics so we can see...

Have a good day!

Hi all,

Here is my work in progress. I am going to add the halloween fabric yo-yos, which is another swap I was part of, along with buttons to it. Do you see your fabrics? I will be making two of them, as my table was not long enough to use all different fabrics on the one. Will post when it is finished.

Have a good day!

Kathy, mine arrived a few days ago! Thanks, again for all your work. It was fun to see many of the fabrics I admired in the fabric stores, and didn't purchase. I'm giving mine to the other grandmom of dgd. She has given our family so much produce over the years, and we get along so well. She will whip up something really quick and cute I am sure! Can't wait to see what she does. I used scraps of the fabric I sent to cover jars of homemade jelly for gifts. They were real cute.

I plan to take the afternoon off tomorrow and sew up a table runner for my daughter. That's the plan and I hope it doesn't change.

Thanks a bunch, Kathy.

WOW! Thanks for the sneak peak. These look great. I can't wait to see the Halloween Charms close up. I'm thinking about a table runner for my oldest DD. They go all out for Halloween at their house.

Kathy, thanks so very much for all the hard work. Hope your back is feeling better today. You are a real trooper as only a fellow quilter would know.LOL
Too bad about your car, hope it's easily repaired. But, you did get a day to play with fabric - always a fun thing.
I had sent you an email late yesterday about my envelopes. Just get back with me when you have a minute and we'll work it out.

I did see the other charm swaps and sadly missed the Christmas deadline as I didn't see the thread. I'll watch for more - hoping there's another Christmas.

Thanks again.
Christine

I had to take the day off today due to car trouble. I didnt feel like taking the old pick-up to work so I just called out sick. We all need to do that once in a while. so....since I was home all day...I sorted out all our charms.

Now I started at about 9:30 this morning. It can be a lot of work. The standing and bending over the table can be a real pain in my lower back.
But don't worry, the pain was well worth it.
I finished up about 3:00. But because I had no car, I could not mail them today.

Here is a closer look at all the different fabrics we all had. Some of us have the same taste. There were more duplicates then I thought.
Any way, everyone that gave me stamps or a postage paid envelope, your envelopes will go in the big blue box outside the post office. All the other envelopes will be mailed in the afternoon duing my lunch.
We you receive your charms please let me know. I like to keep track just incase one gets lost.

Ok ladies today is the day all charms were due. Now, I am at the office at the moment. Sneaking a peek on line. There is only two that I have not heard from. If their packages are at the door when I get home, that's great! But if not and I do not receive an email stating that they are on the way, I will be sorting all of the charms I currently have tonight. They will then be packaged and shipped no later then 10/1. I hope all will be happy with what you receive.
And also, I want to thank you all for participating in my swap.

I have seen a few other charm swaps going on. And yes I am going to participate in them. If you haven't already joined, check them out. They may interest you too.
Take care
