Since we all get busy with homemade holiday gifts, why not start our season with a "new handmade pinkeep" {*Pinkeep is an old fashion name for a pincushion.}

Anyone who is interested let me know, I will head this one up.
Sign up will end on July 31st and will be due by September 21st.
This gives us plenty of time and no worries about Labor day or the kiddies heading back to school.

Details: Let's do them with a fall theme and color. Check with your swap partner to get ideas of what she would like.

So, is anyone interested?? [I will post the pairs on August 1st here.]

Hi Tammy,

My new pincushion came already...and I love it. It sits so nice that it will be perfect to use. Also, I love the fabric...its something I would have picked out myself! Thank you so much! You should have yours in a day or too. I mailed it today at lunchtime. Here's a pic of my new pinkeep ladies!

I received my pinkeep from Toni yesterday. It is a work of art. Really cute and clever. I wish I could post a picture for all to see. Maybe Toni did? Toni also included a towel with pumpkins and fall fabric which I will enjoy using. Thank you Toni, I will certainly enjoy them both but can't stop looking at the pinkeep. I was on vacation and returned on Wed, came to work yesterday and planned to mail yours today on my lunch hour. This was great fun and I can see I will need to be very creative to keep up with the farm girls.

I received my pinkeep today from Sue and I love it! It has autumn leave fabric in a little vintage appearing frying pan. Very cute. And a little bonus apron for my dish soap bottle. My Palmolive sure looks spiffy! Thanks Sue!

Linda,
It is called Scrap Sack 2 by Oceanlake Designs. I found it at one the quilt shops that I frequent. I could copy it and mail it to you next week if you like. E mail me your address. It only takes 2 fat quarters. I plan to make a few more for gifts for my quilting buddies.
