I tried to get closer to show the applique detail, but camera phones aren't the greatest..lol

I got these at an estate sale a while back, and I have so many aprons, that these are 2 that I really dont wear. the white one is vintage, with hand appliqued flowers along the bottom, there are a few stains, but then again, I haven't soaked it in ZOTE yet, either. The tie around the neck looks like maybe hand tatted lace? The dark red paisley one doesn't appear to be very old, but it is really cute and obviously hand made.

And once again, I am looking for cherry items for my vintage travel trailer..lol.

It goes with my new living room furniture......or I can be in the kitchen wiping the flour right on the apron and it won't even show.

I can wear it as a pinafore----no thats stretching it----but I can wear it and my nephew may not frown at me and say what is that ?????
He never saw a relative in an apron

aren't I too much?????? I know I sometimes can get mighty silly...to meet me you would know I'm a big kid at heart. Its not the end of the world if I don't get it....but it sure is purty...for a farm gal at heart.

oh, I just love the farmgirliness on these forums!!! Ya'll are all too sweet!!!

Ok....let me see..... Claudia, I just love candles! I am going to have another apron up for barter on here in the next couple of days, along with some other things (trying to seriously declutter the things I love but honestly don't use!) So I will definately keep you in mind!!!

Beverly - So sweet that you were so kind to another farmgirl, I just love it!!

But I must admit, that Melody's offer is just like too good to be true...where did she find out that I also love 30's repro fabrics???...lol And Robert Kaufman??? Great designer!!! So, Melody, the aprons are yours, or should I say yours and Beverly's...lol
And like I said...am going to have atleast one more vintage apron on here, and one that is not vintage but soooo cute, Country Watermelon theme smaock apron that is not finished - tee-hee!!

Thank all of you so much!!

Hi Kelly,
This is Melody June over in Athens. I have been digging into my fabric and some strawberries and cherries just for you. One is a designer bundle of fat quarters of vintage repo 30's "Cherries Galore" by Robert Kaufman. I think you'll really like. If you'd like a picture first I can email you one or just send me you address and they will be on their way to you. For trade I'd like to make sure Beverly gets the white apron. She did something very kind for another farmgirl and it did not go unnoticed.
Smiles, Melody June

I just love that white apron...I would love to own it.....I don't have anything cherry to give you however I do have a very sweet book called Home Almanac with pictures inside that are very old fashioned. Its really a very sweet book.
OR
1. stationery made with pressed flowers
2.folders with batik material covers
3. new white cotton star threaded summer nightgown size large Nordstrom label.
If none of this interests you let me know what does.....I am downsizing my belongings and heading back to India soon, and would love to show off that white apron.
Thanks for any consideration in this swap with me.

oh wow! These are so cute! I dont think i have anything cherry laying around but if you would like the town that i live in makes to die for hand made candles,(some of the scents include cinnamon bun, apple pie, and it all actually smells like the real thing!) if you would like to barter for something like that or if you have anything else in mind let me know!
